Blowin' In The Wind (Bob on keyboard then center stage on harp) This concert featured the first 'Tangled Up In Blue' in Ireland since the glorious Galway version from 2004, the first Irish 'Tryin to get to Heaven' since the glorious Dublin version in 2000. The first highlight of the show was a great 'Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues', which made its first appearance on this island since Belfast 1966. The three new songs for me, 'Beyond Here Lies Nothing', 'I Feel A Change Coming On', and 'Jolene', were performed for the first time ever in Ireland, as was to my ears the song with the best singing of the night, 'Workingman's Blues' (which I was glad to see again, after seeing it in Jaén, Spain two years earlier). |
